Okay, so this is my first journal entry - and I already have tons to rave about. Hope I don't sound like a spaz.

I've been waiting forever to rave about this...MY NEW LAPTOP IS GOING TO BE HERE IN 3 DAYS!
I ordered it direct from HP a week ago. I'm very excited (if that wasn't noticeable already). Twice the amount of RAM and almost three times the hard drive space I have now. Euphoric. Maybe now I can edit better, since I've already noticed that the colors I see on my screen now are way less vivid than others'- which sucks because most of the time, that causes to me to OVER process photos to the point where there's too much color. Yes, I said it - TOO much color.

That brings me to another point. What's the deal with me and vividly colored photographs? Love taking them, love editing them, love looking at them, love love love themmm? Whether it be gloomy or festive, I have to make everything pop. I think I haven't grasped the art of understatement quite yet.
